WATCH: LADY GAGA & CHRISTINA AGUILERA STUNS WITH 'DO WHAT U WANT' ON 'THE VOICE'

Minutes before it was announced that Tessanne Chin would emerge the winner of The Voice, Pop innovator Lady Gaga graced the stage in aid of her #1 album 'ARTPOP', performing one of the album's number 'Do What U Want' with...you guessed it...Christina Aguilera.

Perhaps a duet no one saw coming, the two vocalist unite on stage hitting the necessary notes and squashing the alleged feud in the process. But was it any good? Peep the performance after the break...

They are arguably two of the biggest rivals in Pop music and when it was announced that Lady Gaga and Christina Aguilera is set to share the stage together in just under an hour at tonight's live result show at The Voice, everyone was left jolted.

That's right! Paws up, Mother Monster is heading to The Voice season finale. While Will, Tessanne and Jacquie battle it out for top supremacy, the show will also be a star-studded one as Ne-Yo, One Direction, Celine Dion and Lady Gaga will take to the stage to perform their respective cuts.

LADY GAGA SOARS WITH 'DO WHAT U WANT' ON CHATTY MAN

As 'Do What U Want' continues to sail on commercial shores, Lady Gaga stopped by Alan Carr: Chatty Man Show to belt out the tune which now resides at #17 on the Billboard Hot 100. Sure to boost the single's sales, Gaga performed an acoustic 'Want' much to the delight of her fans.

But was her showing better than previous outings?

Is Gaga sexing things up with R. Kelly?

Well if the above pic is anything to go by, and Gaga can be seen straddling the pied piper in the video for their single which was directed by famed photographer Terry Richardson

Its also looks to me like video will be a muddled mess just like its forced performances. With that said, I'll hold the fort til the final judgement.

LADY GAGA PARTNERS WITH VERSACE

She's known for her eccentricity and we've seen Lady Gaga pay homage to famed designer Donatella Versace many a times so it comes as no surprise the singer is partnering with the fashion house. Marking her latest venture, the Pop megastar will be the face of the brand's 2014 Spring campaign. This after the singer's latest album 'ARTPOP' was met with lukewarm sales.

With the likes of Katy Perry and Miley Cyrus both enjoyed favorable opening week sales, the world has been anticipating the opening week figures of Pop damsel Lady Gaga and her "album of the millennium" ARTPOP.

LADY GAGA STRUGGLES WITH 'DO WHAT U WANT'

The iconic Saturday Night Live welcomed Lady Gaga to their stage to perform not one but two of ARTPOP's number. For the first time live, fans get to see the singer perform 'Do What U Want' with guest vocals from self proclaim king of R&B R. Kelly and another ARTPOP number 'Gypsy'. 

But did guest appearance from R. Kelly did it any good? Meet me after the break...

LADY GAGA's 'ARTPOP' TO OPEN WITH 275K COPIES

Uh oh!

It appears that Lady Gaga might lose the battle of 4th quarter to Katy Perry after all. After initially set to open with 375,000 copies in her opening week, Gaga has learned that her latest offering ARTPOP is set to suffer a 10 per cent decline to open with 275,000, a 100,000 units less than what was initially predicted.

It appears that the handling of this project was poorly managed and Gaga and her team's only option was to push the album in our faces. For yet to secure a number one record off the album, the singer has been muddled in mess with live showings of the album's tracks.

With many billing ARTPOP as the end of Gaga's musical career, I believe there isn't much left for her to do. We've all seen the quirkiness and 'POP's uncanny sound to the singer's past albums.

Here's hoping that her showing on SNL and American Music Awards can boosts the album's sales figure.

With Eminem and Katy Perry controlling the Billboard 200, Lady Gaga has done the unthinkable in pushing her latest effort 'ARTPOP'. The singer has inked a deal with Clear Channel Communications in a bid to boost the album's sales once it gets here. Sow how does this work?
