Tessanne Chin is The Voice 2013. Yes you read that right, the Jamaican songbird has emerged the winner of the NBC singing competiton. With strong competition from Jacqui Lee, Tessanne beat the odds and emerged the victor. Chin has wowed Jamaicans and the world at large with her stellar vocal prowess week after week.
Tessaanne has shown over the weeks that she is 'The Voice', belting out notes to high heavens. With Jamaica behind her 100%, the vocal wonder was a sure fit for the crown. This victory has inspired many and it sure does open alot of doors for Jamaicans who hope to follow in her footsteps. Today we've witnessed history right infront our very own eyes.
Since her win the likes of DJ Khaled, Kelly Clarkson and a ton of celebrities are congratulating the songbird. Thank you America for getting it right and choosing Tessanne as the winner of 'The Voice' 2013.
I also want to make mentions of her mom and dad for giving us the gem that is Tessanne, and also Shaggy for approaching Tess with such an incredible idea. It's a pivotal moment for this little island Jamaica, as we've created history by becoming the first non-American winner.
We are proud of our girl and she's shown the world that her voice knows no boundaries. I salute you Tessanne!
