TESSANNE CHIN ANNIHILATES COMPETITION WITH WHITNEY HOUSTON CLASSIC

With Monday night being the penultimate day of The Voice, the top 3 came and delivered but only one stood out from the pack. I'm talking about vocal ambassador Tessanne Chin. Arguably the best vocalist in The Voice history, the big-voiced Jamaican has shown true class and mettle as she belted out the likes of P!nk, The Beatles and the late great Whitney Elizabeth Houston.

Since Chin's audition back in September, she's become quite the staple in the competiton with coaches hailing her as a "world-class vocalist". And world class vocalist she is when she tackled Houston's 'I Have Nothing' and scored. School children in England knows that Houston is not one to be toyed with Chin took in on like Daniel in the lion's den.

At this point she's Hurricane Tessanne packing speeds of up 295 km/h ready to do some damage. And damage she did. Prior to belting out the Houston classic, Chin joined forces with her backup singers competitors for a stirring rendition of The Jackson 5's hit 'I'll Be There'. While Chin outclassed her competition with those vocals, it made crowd favorite Jacquie Lee looks as if she was doing backup duties. God bless Will's big little heart.

With 'Tessmania' rocking the streets and bars of our nation, this is truly national pride, a pivotal moment for our country. As at writing I can't even tell you how many goosebumps I've counted since Chin's stellar showing. I hail Chin as one of the best vocalist of all time and is sure in the upper echelon of big voiced divas such as Mariah  Carey, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Patti Labelle and Aretha Franklin.

Alas, she's shown us week after week why she should win the title. She fights for this and she does so with grace. And as shade as *cough* Christina *cough* wanna be, Tess is the bess and the voice by our choice!
