Earlier this week it was announced that Beyonce is Bing's most searched artist in 2013. But the announcement quickly sent fans into arguing whether Bing is as popular and widely used as Google and the latter's tally is what many look forward to annually.
Well that list is out and Google's most searched female of 2013 is... Rihanna. This latest achievement was culled by the search engine based on the Icon's social media presence, music in the past year and a ground breaking Diamonds World Tour.
In 2012 Rihanna was ranked 2nd as the most searched woman in the world according to Google. This year, the Pop Queen has beat the likes of Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and Miley Cyrus and amassed a staggering 1,420,000,000 billion search results.
Here's a look at the Top 10 most searched female of 2013
1. Rihanna
2. Lana Del Rey
3. M.I.A
4. Lady Gaga
5. Cher
6. Katy Perry
7. Taylor Swift

Congrats to Rih on securing the 2013 title.
