SEVYN STREETER SAMPLES TONI BRAXTON'S 'YOU MEAN THE WORLD TO ME'

It is a known fact that 'You Mean The World To Me' is one of the hardest R&B songs to ever be recorded. Pulled from Toni Braxton's 1993 self titled debut album, the song has garnered international recognition and was a instant hit when it was announced as the 4th single the following year, making Toni one of the most recognizable voice is R&B music.

Fast forward 20 years later with a new generation of R&B stars, Ms. Braxton saw her hit sampled by R&B newbie Sevyn Streeter.

How did she fare? Find out below...

Its no secret that Streeter can sing and her take on the Braxton classic was a pretty decent one. She stayed in her lane but still managed to execute. Its refreshing to see a new generation of stars paying homage to those who paved the way and made a platform that they're currently cemented on.

Good job!
