DAMION MARLEY READIES 'WELCOME TO JAMROCK' CRUISE OUTING

With a month since news broke that he'll be embarking on a 'Welcome To Jamrock' cruise outing, 'Affairs of The Heart' hitmaker Damion 'Junior Gong' Marley can now learn that he'll pilot a ship to sold out capacity when it set sails in Miami, Florida a year before its set to leave the port.

Deets after the jump...
This unique venture will see fans board the 'Norwegian Pearl' in Miami on October 20th which will then arrive in Jamaica five days later. While in Jamaica, the cruise will make its stop at some of the island's resort attractions Monetgo Bay and Ocho Rios where attendants will enjoy daytime partying as well as performances from philanthropist Shaggy and 'Call On Me' vocalist Jah Cure

Speaking to Billboard Biz on the venture, Marley shared:
“Reggae’s root is Jamaica, and it seems that the world is losing a bit of that history so we were very strict in having most of the lineup for the first cruise be of Jamaican heritage.”
In addition to that, Marley's manager further lamented:
“There has never been a fully chartered cruise ship devoted to reggae so this will be like a festival with sound systems playing, a rock steady lounge or dub lounge, an 80s dancehall club, a multifaceted Jamaican musical experience.”
The Pearl boasts 2,300 cabins but can accomadate up to 2,394 guests.
