BEYONCE DROPS 'VISUAL ALBUM' ON ITUNES TODAY

The holiday season is fast appraoching and what better way to drop a new album to capitalize on. With the world waking up to a new Beyonce album today, the Pop sensation has seen her roll out execution of the album being praised by many a Pop culture website.

That's right, like a thief in the night the singer came and release her 5th studio album christened 'Beyonce'. The album has reportedly topped the iTunes charts in over 25 countries and has sold more than 80,000 units in 3 hours.

So why this roll-out treatment? With releases like 'Grown Woman' and 'Standing On The Sun' drowned in commercial waters, Beyonce knew that if she had released snippets like what is on the album no one would pay the album dust. So what better genius way to release the entire album overnight with fans not knowing what to expect so they will rush to buy it in anticipation to hear new Beyonce music, but much to their dismay, its a big letdown.

With that being said, serious props must be given to the singer and her camp for this roll out treatment, as no one expected the singer was to drop an album by year end considering the competions on the charts in recent months. But with all the competition dying out and no more major albums to be released this year, Bey certainly has a winner on her hand, whether its garbage or not. What'll be interesting though, is how the album will fare come Sunday at the end of the tracking week. Moreso how the singles will fare once they are sent to to radios to be serviced.

The self proclaim 'Queen B' came close in scoring a #1 back in 2009 with her collaboration with Lady Gaga with 'Telephone' but was barred from the top spot by a certain Rihanna with 'Rude Boy'.
