LOCAL BAKING COMPANY SUPPORTS #TEAMBREADANDBUTTA

Promotion or too much?

Jamaicans locally and abroad have taken on the "bread and butta" slang since Tessanne Chin made it famous when auditioning on The Voice, but this move might have sealed the deal. Local baking company The Captain's Bakery has apparently printed the singer's image onto one of their baked products- a loaf of bread, which is quite synonymous to the term.

So ofcourse with this lies these questions. Who gets the benefits? Was "bread and butta" trademarked by the singer? Was there any agreement with the singer and the baking company formalized for the usage of her image to their product? Or is this just a way of showing genuine support for #TeamBreadandButta?

Either way one look at it, it could be profitable to the company following the 'Tessmania' that has taken over the nation. Good marketing move!
